We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The Optician will have experience in a variety of optician duties and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As an Optician, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive high-quality eyewear and excellent service.

Optician Key Responsibilities:

Perform prior authorizations and insurance verifications
Accurately measure, fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses
Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences
Familiarity with different lens styles, options, and contact lens fitting
Prepare and process patient bills and post-sales transactions
Bill insurance accurately and efficiently
Assist with inventory management and preparation of orders
Verify lab orders to ensure correct specifications are met
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with patients and colleagues
Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Stay up-to-date with the latest in optical products and techniques through continued education
Optician Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent math and problem-solving skills
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Professionalism, including excellent communication skills and pleasant manners
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing work demands
ABO (American Board of Opticianry) certification is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
